Space

The Space:

Mulfran sits quietly in open countryside near Llangefni, its mirrored walls dissolving into field and sky. The interior is calm and considered: a king bed to with views of nature all around, warm textures, underfloor heating, rainfall shower, a kitchenette and barbecue for the slow meals a stay invites. The ritual is what stays with you. As the private wood-fired hot tub warms, so the evening builds gently: light the fire, cook outside, watch the swifts and the changing sky, then ease into the water as dusk settles. Shared sauna, cold shower, stillness. Sleep is deep here, with only wind and birdsong outside.

Mulfran. Welsh for cormorant, is named, like its neighbours, for the wildlife of Anglesey, with Llanddwyn and Eryri a short drive when you want them.

Anglesey is known for its unspoilt coastline, open landscapes and slower pace of life, much of it protected as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The island boasts a rich diversity of plant and animal life, and its famed Coastal Path circles the shoreline, revealing clifftop walks, quiet coves and wide sandy beaches at every turn.

Nearby highlights include:

- Llanddwyn Beach (Newborough Forest): sweeping sand dunes, pine forests, and iconic island lighthouse views

- Rhosneigr: surfing, kitesurfing, and a lively coastal feel

Menai Bridge brings an appetite for Angleseys seafood; the local lobster is quietly famous. Across the bridge, Eryri (Snowdonia) opens up. Yr Wyddfa, glacial lakes and mountain paths.

Access

The cabin sits within the Y Glyn estate, reached on foot from the main car park, where one designated space is yours.

A path climbs gently past the Bothy to the cabin, with a handrail along the incline.
